20th Birthday Celebrations

For 20 years Abbotsford Convent Foundation has created a vibrant cultural hub that supports artists, families and the local community. 

Ellis Jones were approached to create a celebratory identity for this special milestone, with a digital-led approach. 

Working with a robust brand identity and some stunning photography, we created a bold and flexible system that could live as naturally in the Convent Gardens as it did on the small screen.

The identity celebrted three moments of connection: 
Portal, where the convent transports through art and history
Points: Each personal experience felt by visitors in the convent
Party: An all-out event in April, a Birthday Party for the whole community! 

Our colour palette was drawn from the history, grounds and artists of the convent, while circular motifs expand and shink between portals, points, and party confetti.
